I have a passion for working with the body in the way that it is meant to function – seeing each patient as an individual that is working towards their specific contentment and joy. I have over 10 years of experience restoring the health of the body as a whole through the gut and nutrient optimisation which then supports improved hormone function.

Professional Experience & Philosophy

I often tell my patients that we will walk a journey together to reach their ideal state of health. A big part of my role is helping them understand why they are experiencing certain symptoms and then offering a clear, comprehensive guide to the available treatment options—so they can choose what feels right for them. I truly believe that patients know their bodies best and understand the real impact of their symptoms.

My passion for patient-centred care began during my years working in government hospitals in South Africa. I often felt patients weren’t included in their own healthcare decisions, and I struggled to make a lasting impact on their quality of life. After moving into private practice, I primarily supported women with various health concerns and found deep fulfilment in the relationships I formed and the tangible improvements I could help bring about. When I moved to the UK, I joined The Iron Clinic, where I worked with women who had long been told their symptoms were “in their head.” It was empowering to finally offer real solutions—but I wanted to go further. At Levitas Clinic, I have been able to expand my work into hormone balancing, thyroid and adrenal health, and intravenous therapies. I have loved my years here and am so grateful to be in a place that keeps patients at the centre of everything we do, giving them the power to take control of their own health outcomes.

Assessment & Treatment Approach

I like to start by putting together a list of symptoms that my patient would like me to fix. We flesh that list out – their moods, their sleep, their energy levels, their physical body and muscle strength. We then step back into their past to understand the timeline – what was happening around the time that their symptoms started and how did they respond to interventions along the way? I then use a number of different tests to help guide the treatment plan including blood tests, saliva, urine and stool testing. All test results are then discussed and compared against the symptoms. From there we create a treatment plan and arrange a follow up to measure the response.

Patient-Centered Values

Half of what makes a person feel better is to create an interaction where that person feels heard. I hope to create a space for them to say what they feel and to reflect that
understanding back to them by creating a treatment plan that offers solutions to their symptoms. It is then for the patient to choose which path to follow. It is always a journey and we check in along the way, to make adjustments depending on how they have responded.

"I love what I do because I get to help people find joy and contentment. Each person I meet is a new opportunity to help them understand their symptoms and equip them with an artillery of supplements or medication that they can lean into when things fall out of balance. I love to journey with them and to be there for them as a support but also to empower them to know that they can feel and be at their best."

Holding Mama by Dr. Caitlin Scott

“My own journey into motherhood and the physical changes and emotional demands that come with it took me by surprise. A friend and I shared the feeling that women are not prepared for the reality of motherhood. We would spend hours talking about the various conundrums that we felt poorly prepared to face. This prompted us to write a resource journal that mums could refer to when they felt they needed a non-judgmental place to decipher their thoughts. A safe space to be held while they desperately tried to hold it all together.”
