Dr. Anna Nott

General Practitioner | Functional Medicine Practitioner | Women’s & Men’s Hormone Health | Longevity Specialist

I am a medically qualified GP with over 15 years of clinical experience, specialising in Functional and Lifestyle Medicine. I combine conventional general practice with systems-based diagnostics and root-cause analysis to deliver thoughtful, personalised care.

My clinical interests include women’s health (particularly perimenopause and menopause), men’s hormone health, gut health, anxiety and depression, weight management, and longevity. I work with patients experiencing chronic symptoms or complex health concerns that benefit from a more integrated and individualised approach.

Full Professional Profile

Professional Experience & Philosophy

I qualified from Cardiff University in 2008 and began my career in acute medicine in Sydney. On returning to London, I completed GP training and have since worked for over a decade in NHS general practice, alongside leadership roles in women’s health, cancer care, and medical education. I am also a GP Trainer with University College London.

Over the years, I developed a deep interest in preventative and personalised medicine. My approach is rooted in Functional and Lifestyle Medicine, offering the time and tools to look beyond symptoms and understand the wider picture of a patient’s health. I aim to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that empowers patients to feel well, energised, and in control of their health long term.

Assessment & Treatment Approach

My consultations are structured, in-depth, and patient-led. I use detailed case histories, clinical insight, and functional testing where appropriate to identify patterns and root causes. From there, we co-create a personalised treatment plan.

Interventions are evidence-based and follow a least-to-most invasive model. Plans often include nutritional interventions, lifestyle strategies, hormone support, targeted supplementation, and conventional medicine when clinically indicated.

Patient-Centered Values

I aim to provide a calm, collaborative space where patients feel heard, informed, and supported. I believe in clear communication, mutual trust, and a shared understanding of goals—ensuring care is both clinically sound and personally meaningful.

“I believe true health is not just the absence of disease, but the presence of vitality—body and mind working in harmony, today and into the future.”
